Methods of Empirical Education Research in the Context of Early Childhood Education and Development (biffbie)

From September 25 to 27, 2017, the newly established Research Center for Early Childhood Development and Education Research at Osnabrück University (CEDER) organized a summer school for young researchers from all disciplines called “Methods of Empirical Education Research in the Context of Early Childhood Education and Development (biffbie).”
The summer school offered the opportunity to deepen methodological competence in empirical education and social research through research approaches of the various subjects and disciplines for application in the context of early childhood education and development, to expand knowledge about quantitative and qualitative research methods, and to foster exchange with researchers from different disciplines.
The introductory and more intensive workshops on methods of empirical education research were supplemented by interdisciplinarily oriented dialogical keynote lectures.
